Applications are invited to apply for the AUT International Scholarships 2020 in New Zealand.   • Financial Benefits:

    The AUT International Scholarships 2020 in New Zealand are divided into the following categories:
    1. New full-fee paying international students undertaking a undergraduate degree or graduate diploma will get an amount of $7,500.
    2. New full-fee paying international students undertaking a postgraduate diploma or master’s degree will get a fund of $7,500.
    3. An amount of $3,000 will be given to new full-fee paying international students with a conditional offer to study an AUT programme and undertaking the GIE AUT University entrance/preparation programme (English for Academic Purposes) at AUT International House.
    4. New full-fee paying international students undertaking the Study Abroad (Certificate of Proficiency) programme for one or two semesters at AUT will get an award of $2,000.

    17. Documents Required:

      • Detailed academic transcript with grading scale of the most recent qualification (e.g. high school or up to date tertiary transcript)
      • Graduation certificate or evidence of completion (e.g. High School diploma) if applicable
      • Current and valid conditional or unconditional offer to study at an AUT program.

      Eligibility Criteria:

      • Applicants must be full-fee paying international students (Note: International students are students who are neither citizens, permanent residents nor resident visa holders of New Zealand or Australia) or in the process of applying for the aforementioned categories.
      • Aspirants must have a new conditional or unconditional offer letter to study at University in any available degree program.
      • Students have to provide their University Student ID in the application form.
      • Scholarships are awarded on academic merit.
      • Applicants with an equivalent GPA of 6.0 out of 9.0 (B+ average) or above in their most recent qualification/program will be considered.
      • Returning AUT students (i.e. students who have already commenced study at AUT (excluding AUT International House GIE English pathway programs)) will not be considered.
      • Applicants are required to declare if they have applied for other forms of scholarships both internally (i.e. awarded by AUT) and externally (e.g. government scholarships). The selection committee will take this into consideration.
